Dentures in San Antonio
Comfortable, Natural-Looking Dentures
Dr. Daniela provides high-quality custom, full and partial dentures. She is experienced and skilled in making dentures that are aesthetic, well-fitting and comfortable.
Daniela Dental provides a variety of dentures, including complete or partial dentures and immediate dentures following tooth extractions. We provide adjustments to your new denture at no cost or a minimal charge for up to six months after your denture delivery.
Dr. Daniela takes the time to create a set of beautiful dentures for her patients. Several of her family members wear dentures, and she knows the challenges they face if the dentures do not fit well. She is passionate about bringing you a better smile with your new dentures. She works closely with our dental lab to make sure that your dentures look and fit they way you want.
Dr. Daniela also knows that cost can be a factor. We provide many options to make your payments affordable.
If your teeth are too broken-down or decayed to repair, Dr. Daniela can extract them and provide you with a set of custom-fit temporary dentures. The process normally takes two visits. On your first visit, Dr. Daniela will take impressions that are used by our lab to create your temporary dentures. On your second visit, Dr. Daniela will remove your teeth and deliver your immediate dentures.
Your gums will need a few months to fully heal after the extractions. As they heal, your gum and bone change and shrink, and your immediate denture might not fit as well. As needed, Dr. Daniela will adjust your denture during this healing period.
After your gums have fully healed, Dr. Daniela can design and fabricate a new denture that will fit well and last longer than your immediate dentures.
Dr. Daniela also provides implant-supported dentures. When dentures are supported by implants they slip less and have greater chewing power compared to dentures by themselves. Many patients choose traditional dentures as a temporary solution while they prepare for implant-supported dentures, since traditional dentures are more affordable.
Types of Dentures We Offer
Full, traditional dentures
Traditional full dentures are removable and replace an entire arch of teeth. The upper denture has a false palate to provide structural support and to help keep the denture in place.
Traditional partial dentures are usually made out of an inflexible acrylic material and are secured in place with biocompatible metal clasps that grip around the adjacent teeth.
Metal-free partial dentures
Dr. Daniela offers Valplast® metal-free partials, which are made from a flexible, strong and lightweight nylon. They look more natural than acrylic partial dentures. They come with a one-year guarantee against fracture or breakage. Dr. Daniela also offers TCS® metal-free partials. TCS partials are made out of a biocompatible thermoplastic that adjusts and flexes with the natural contours of your jaw.
Each option has its own unique advantages. Dr. Daniela will work with you to determine which one will best serve your needs.
Dr. Daniela can provide you with a new set of quality dentures that are designed to be supported by implants. Dentures supported by implants are held firmly in place, will not move around in your mouth and will provide much greater chewing power compared to traditional dentures.
The dentures can be fixed onto implants and are only removable by a dentist, or they can be fitted so they snap onto implants while still being removable by you.
Implant-supported dentures are an economical way to replace an entire arch of missing teeth using dental implants.
